Smithsonian National Zoo  

First Alpacas in "The Public Zoo"! Morning Moon Alpacas sold Cirrus, Ziggy and Orian to the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC Located in the Agricultural Exhibit. These alpacas were the first alpacas in a public zoo in the country. Morning Moon was chosen by the Smithsonian out of many farms they visited because of the quality and handling ease of our alpacas. We are very proud of our boys and have been there many times to visit.
